We are recruiting for our client a leading Singapore based financial company. To join their ever expanding Solutions Delivery team we require AVP – Solutions Delivery, Clearing.

Position: AVP - Solutions Delivery, Clearing

Primary roles:
Leading the team in maintenance and support of 2 critical systems in Derivatives clearing - Clearing Operation Risk Evaluation System (CORE) and SGX Trade Allocation and Registration System (STAR) systems. Maintenance includes production support, application development, code modifications, problem troubleshooting and testing. Performing the role of an architect providing end-to-end solutions for new initiatives and projects. Leading, guiding and coaching junior team members in their work. Standing-in for the unit leader in his absence.

Programming skills:
* C/C++
* Unix scripting
* Java
* Crystal report
* SQL
* Unix OS

Basic requirements:
- Hardworking individual
- Good aptitude to learn
- Willing to perform night support (average 3 times in a month)
- Good system design concept
- Good writing and communication skill
- Singaporean or SPR with at least 5 years of experience in application design and development or management of critical projects.
- The job involves 20% support, 60% development/enhancement and 20% team management
- Good technical experience with basic knowledge of financial engineering will be considered.
